The Department of Finance, Compliance and Governance of Bavaria Wirtschaftsagentur GmbH (BWA) manages accounting and reporting as well as the global accounting of insurance companies at the BMW Group. In the newly created function ''Aktuariat'', you are responsible for the strategic and operational (further) development of tools, assess risks and support our Group companies in actuarial decisions. What do you expect? You are responsible for the independent mathematical and statistical analysis of relevant external and internal data with the aim of predicting risk entry probabilities and evaluating them proactively. As a Center of Competence, you will be responsible for the selection, implementation and operational development of BWA's appropriate tools. In addition, you can help to review the tools for foreign daughters. You take over the technical control and coordination of the participating internal specialist departments and external consultants, such as Aktuare, law firms, external auditors and Covenant Advisers in international insurance covers or software suppliers. Your tasks include designing actuarial reviews against the background of the BMW framework conditions.

What are you doing? Successful completion of Master's degree in Business Informatics, IT, Mathematics, Statistics or a comparable degree course. Multiannual relevant professional experience required. Furthermore, experience in the professional management of employees is desirable. Additional qualification Aktuar (DAV) or multi-year professional experience in actuariat or in risk management functions. Knowledge in common programming languages, use of databases and statistical programs. Impressed negotiating skills and strategies for negotiation. English knowledge in word and writing.
