Laboratory Manager Concrete / Building Materials Testing (m/f/d)

You're responsible for the entire laboratory operation. You make sure that our laboratories are professional, human and technically well positioned and that test orders are reliably processed. You take the professional and disciplinary leadership. You set clear goals, give feedback and support your employees in their development. You control the MRP. You plan and coordinate the use of our audit staff, maintain capacity and appointments in mind and organize representations. You ensure uniform testing procedures. You are responsible for current work instructions, comprehensible documentation and professional implementation of fresh and solid concrete tests. You continue developing your team's qualifications. You organize instructions and further training and make sure that examinations are carried out by qualified employees. You train employees and our customers. You use concrete, test procedures and quality requirements in a comprehensible and practice-oriented manner and evaluate the training as required. You keep equipment and test equipment in mind. You coordinate maintenance, calibrations and checks and plan necessary replacement and new acquisitions. You connect our laboratories with the other areas of responsibility. You work closely with the test station management, the WPK responsible and quality assurance. You bring improvements to the implementation. Together with the management, you develop organization, equipment and procedures of our laboratories.

A completed civil engineering study or a suitable professional background, for example as a mason or reinforced concrete builder, with correspondingly acquired knowledge, skills and further qualification. Practical experience in concrete testing, concrete technology or a comparable field of activity. You have already acquired the SIVV-Schein and have practical experience in the corresponding work area. If the required refreshment is due or overdue, this is not an obstacle to your application – we will allow you to refresh yourself. Safe knowledge of the common fresh and solid concrete tests as well as the relevant test and monitoring requirements. Knowledge of the requirements for concrete structures and understanding of the relationships between building material quality, processing and building. Ideally experience in the management of employees and the acquisition of personnel responsibility. Sales experience is advantageous, in particular in consulting customers on technical services.
