Your tasks are: • Development and validation of circular product design methods (Design for Circularity) • Application and development of evaluation approaches for the circulatory capacity of product systems • Integrating circular business models in the product development process • Integration of data-based approaches (e.g. artificial intelligence, digital product passports, digital twins) into product development • Cooperation with partners in the transformation project Circular Saar • Participation in publications, conference contributions and profit transfer (e.g. workshops, guides, checklists) • Optional teaching and support activities in the courses Sustainable and Circular Engineering and Sustainable and Circular Products

Your profile is: • completed academic studies in engineering, sustainability, material sciences or related disciplines. • Language skills (according to GER): C2 in German and C1 in English In addition, bring: • Funded knowledge of methods and processes of product development and system engineering • Competences in circular economy and sustainable production • A strong interest in in interdisciplinary research in the field of technology, sustainability and business • Ability to work scientifically and publish in relevant journals
