Senior Manager:in Corporate M&A (m/f/d)

In the Corporate M&A team, you will shape the strategic development of the Eppendorf Group through investments, divestments and successful integration of new companies.

You take responsibility for all steps of the M&A and Desinvestment process - from deal identification to due diligence, assessment, structuring and negotiation to completion - and you agree closely with senior management, legal, finance, business portfolio and P&O. As a project manager, you control complex post-Merger integration projects, develop detailed PMI plans and ensure the smooth coordination of employees, processes, systems and cultures, including leadership of cross-functional integration teams, pursuit of synergy objectives and active control of integration risks. In close cooperation with various business areas, you identify, qualify and evaluate investment opportunities and prepare sound basis for the Executive Board or the Group Executive Committee. Cross-disciplinary meetings around M&A processes and integration topics are organised and moderated by you and work closely with external consultants:inside and service providers on specific transaction workstreams. Through the continuous observation of industry trends, you will set up regular market updates for the team and develop your industry network in a targeted manner, including through events, conferences, trade fairs and active exchange with entrepreneurs:inside, industry partners, investors:inside and investment banks. With a high travel readiness of up to 30% of your working time, you represent Eppendorf at internal and external dates and reflect sustainable relationships with relevant stakeholders.

You have a successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Natural Sciences or a comparable field and brings at least five years of relevant professional experience as M&A Manager in the corporate environment, ideally in the life science or healthcare industry. Funded knowledge in the areas of M&A and Post-Merger integration as well as comprehensive buy-side experience allow you to manage complex transaction processes structured and to prepare investment and divestment decisions securely. At least five years of experience in the management of international, cross-functional projects, you can look back and prove that you bring different stakeholders together and carry out challenging projects on time. Extensive competence in financial modeling and assessment, including the application of relevant tools and databases, is targeted to develop scenarios, perform sensitivity analyses and derive clear recommendations for action. A strong passion for corporate investment and investment as well as for solving complex business issues drives you to recognise opportunities early on and to develop value-generating strategies. In dealing with different personalities, you build trusted relationships, work constructively in the team and create an environment where open discussions and joint decisions are possible. You communicate verbally and in writing very safely in German and English and move confidently in a dynamic, international working environment in which you structure several tasks in parallel and keep deadlines reliable.
