Erlanger Stadtwerke is an economic company in the city of Erlangen with an annual turnover of up to 350 million. Euro. The business task is to supply our customers with electricity, heat, natural gas and water. We are responsible for the implementation of public transport in Erlangen, operate the Erlangen baths and provide services in the field of telecommunications. In order to strengthen our IT team, we offer for the winter semester 2027/2028 a study place for a practical-integrated dual Bachelor's degree program Business Informatics with a focus on Application Management at DHBW Mannheim.

With us you learn how modern IT solutions are selected, introduced, operated and developed. You will get insights into the application management as well as current topics about digitalization, data management and the practical use of artificial intelligence. At the same time, you actively shape the digital development of a municipal utility company and learn about IT solutions for different business processes and business areas. Support, introduction and further development of central enterprise applications and digital solutions Knowing the entire life cycle of IT applications – from requirement and introduction to operation to continuous development Recording and analysis of technical requirements together with our departments and support in their implementation Working with the digitalization and optimization of business processes as well as testing and introducing new digital, data-based and AI-based solutions Cooperation in IT and digitalization projects and knowledge of interfaces, data flows and system integrations Cooperation with software manufacturers, technology partners and external IT service providers Insights into adjacent topics such as data management, cloud technologies, IT infrastructure and information security Insights into the different business processes of a municipal utility company and their support through modern IT solutions
