IT-Application Specialist BI (m/f/d)

You enter our systems with BI reference (e.g. accounting, billing and controlling systems). You work with the responsible Application Specialists and departments of the operating core systems (e.g. TMS, scanning systems, pre-systems) with a focus on data quality, data availability and correct data transfer to the BI systems. You are responsible for the professional evaluation of data from operating systems regarding completeness, plausibility and professional logic as the basis for reporting, analysis and key figures. You control the provision of technical data quality, data consistency and data logic in the BI systems in close coordination with the departments and connected source systems. You are responsible for the configuration and adaptation of BI systems to the specific needs of our business processes. The inclusion, analysis and technical evaluation of reporting and analysis requirements from the specialist areas as well as the translation of these requirements into BI reports, dashboards or key figures is one of your tasks. You support and train the departments when using self-service BIO functions (e.g. Power BI). You control regular maintenance work to ensure the availability and performance of BI systems. You analyze errors and initiate troubleshooting measures with the software manufacturer or IT service provider. You work in IT projects.

Professional experience you should bring: Complete training in IT or comparable qualification A professional experience relevant to the position and task, preferably in logistics or the service sector First practical experience in application support or IT administration, ideally in the logistics environment Experience in handling the following systems: Power BI, Cognos BI, Winsped, Newtron and Diamond These personal qualities should make you feel: Analytical thinking and structured working Ability to understand and explain complex technical relationships Experience in project work and agile project management High communication capability and team capability Embossed customer orientation Self-employed and targeted work Standing for continuous training German and English in word and writing Driving licence B Work readiness in the evening and night hours and weekend (individual)
