(Senior) Business Architect Corporate & Public im Team Business Transformation (m/f/d)

You take responsibility for the architecture of strategic transformation programs in Connected Industries. As a senior business architect, you combine technical target images with technical connectivity and create consistent, controllable target architectures for public-sector organisations, critical infrastructures and regulated industries. You structure complex system and organizational landscapes, define sustainable domain and capability models and ensure architectural integrity across all transformation programs. Target & Target Architecture Development: Soverän develop holistic business architectures and target operating models that combine strategic objectives, regulatory requirements and operational implementation.

Capability & domain modeling: You structure organizations along clearly defined professional domain and business capabilities, identify dependencies and create transparency in grown structures.

Business IT integration: With your professional sense, you will ensure that technical requirements are transferred to architectural principles and business architecture as well as technical solution architecture are coherently geared. Architecture Governance & Consistency: Set up architectural principles, establish review and decision-making mechanisms and ensure consistent decisions across multiple project strands.

Transformation structuring: You develop clear roadmaps from target image architectures, organize transformation steps and ensure the implementation of complex changes. Stakeholder-Moderation & Alignment: You moderate architecture workshops, prepare management decisions and act as a content partner for program management, disciplines and technical architectures.

Experience: multiannual experience in the development of business architectures, target operating models or capability frameworks in the context of connected industries, public sector or regulated industries

Understanding: sound understanding of complex organisational, process and system landscapes in the public sector or critical infrastructures Implementation strength: proven ability to translate strategic target images into structured architecture models, domain structures and implementable roadmaps

Integratability: Experience in the interconnection of technical architecture with technical solution architectures and integration principles

Governance Competence: Safe handling of architecture governance, domain boundaries and consistency mechanisms in multi-strand programs

Communication strength: very strong moderation, communication and structuring capabilities in interdisciplinary and hierarchical settings

Knowledge of methods: sound knowledge of common architectural and modeling approaches (e.g. Business Capability Modeling, TOGAF or comparable frameworks)

Quality Consciousness: high quality standards, analytical sharpness and clear orientation to sustainable value creation in transformation programs Languages: very good German language skills in word and writing (C1), good English skills Mobility: project-related travel readiness within the DACH region Your personality
