Head of Accounting (m/f/d)

As Head of Accounting & Controlling (m/f/d), you take over the management of a total of 25 employees in external accounting and controlling (of which 14 in the international shared service center) and bear the responsibility for creating monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB and IFRS. You act as contact persons for auditors as part of the annual accounts and are also responsible for the preparation and verification of tax returns and tax balances. Your area of responsibility also includes the creation of planning as well as under-year forecasts of earnings and the establishment of reporting dashboards and KPI systems. In addition, you are responsible for creating monthly reports as well as the analysis, development and standardization of accounting processes. You report professionally and disciplinaryly to the managing director Germany and are to take on the role of CFO (m/f/d).

You bring a successfully completed study of business management with the focus on accounting/controlling or a comparable qualification. You have several years of professional experience in accounting and controlling – preferably in a manufacturing industrial company. You provide sound knowledge in HGB and IFRS. Extensive Microsoft Office knowledge is assumed. In addition, you already have knowledge in relevant ERP systems or Business intelligence software (e.g. MS Navision, Qlik-View).
