Clinic for Internal Medicine

The Department of Internal Medicine has a total of 143 beds and 14 IC beds and is divided into the following clinics: gastroenterology, pneumology, oncology, palliative medicine and diabetics, cardiology, angiology, rheumatology.

The clinic includes a Certified Stroke Unit and the Internalist Intensive Medical Area, a Left Heart catheter and an Electrophysiological Laboratory (EPU). Furthermore, there have been intestinal centres certified by DKG Krebsgesellschaft for many years with tumour conferences of all the disciplines involved in turn (gastroenterology, visceral surgery, oncology, radiology, pathology, radiotherapy). Department of Rheumatology:

The Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology diagnoses, treats and treats the following diseases:

• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Psoriasis arthritis
• Sklerodermie
• Spondylarthropathies (e.g. Morbus Bechterew)
