Process Development Manager (m/f/d)

You play a central role in driving technological innovation and making our products sustainable. With your know-how, you actively shape the future of our segment: You develop and manage the technological R&D roadmap and thus secure the technical leadership of the segment. You conduct technology-driven innovation and process projects – from the first idea to the successful implementation in production. Through a deep understanding of the interactions between raw materials and processes, you ensure the highest product quality, consistency and production excellence. You evaluate, test and implement new technologies, processes and formulation changes including robust risk analysis. With supply chain management, process engineering and other cross-functional partners, you work closely together to successfully advance changes. You use data analysis and digital tools to improve product performance, efficiency and productivity and work closely with supply chain management to optimize and standardize industrial processes across the entire production network in the sense of a continuous improvement approach. You carry on and develop R&D resources professionally, tax budgets and ensure effective and sustainable knowledge transfer in the team. You ensure governance and full compliance with legal requirements and the guidelines of Nomad Foods and promote best practices. In addition, you anchor sustainability principles, including waste reduction and responsible procurement. You use new methods and tools (e.g. AI and machine learning) to transfer data (input/output) into sound insights, reduce costs and/or improve product performance.

Complete study with technical focus such as food technology, process engineering, chemical engineering, etc. Multiannual professional experience in an industrial R&D or production environment, ideally in an international organisation proven experience in managing complex technology, innovation or process-driven projects English and German knowledge for sovereign cooperation in an international environment expressed analytical skills as well as safety in handling complex data; Knowledge in the use of AI and machine learning Structured, independent working and strong project management skills Very good communication and leadership skills as well as ability to work effectively across functions and across locations at European production sites
