Occupational Safety Specialist / Safety Engineer (m/f/d)

As a 'safety for work (FaSi / SiFa) (m/w/d)'', you take over the tasks of a specialist in occupational safety for our internal customers in the Rhine-Main area. You ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines for different projects and bring your technical expertise to bear. This includes coordination and coordination between contracting entities, internal experts and external service providers, as well as independent cooperation with the authorities, such as professional associations and the supervisory authorities. Advising executives and employees in matters relating to the areas of work and environmental management, such as the establishment or conversion of production and workplaces, is also part of your area of responsibility. You work on the implementation of concepts to ensure a sustainable improvement of security culture, design training and train employees at all hierarchical levels and the employees of our partner companies. Your tasks include the introduction and maintenance of uniform safety requirements at the Heraeus locations in the Rhine-Main area. The occasional takeover of the EHS Procurement Service (approximately one week per quarter) is also one of your tasks.

Qualification Safety engineer in the scientific or technical field, ideally with the completion of a study in natural or engineering sciences or comparable qualification Ideally with additional qualifications such as hazardous materials management, radiation protection, adult education Multiannual professional experience as a specialist in occupational safety, preferably as a safety engineer or in a comparable position in the chemical industry. Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Safe handling of current MS Office programs Teamable personality with enforcing power and very good communication skills Self-conscient and responsible work with pronounced service orientation and driving licence Class B
