Tasks

• Management and coordination tasks in the CRIS.NRW project: Implementation and further development of a research information system based on HISinOne-RES.
• Cooperation in bodies of the CRIS.NRW association and network management in other relevant working groups or initiatives.
• Intensive cooperation and communication with various internal departments (level of management, data areas, scientists, technical support), coordination with other university projects.
• User advice and training: advice and support of users in testing and productive systems. Development, coordination and implementation of training and preparation of training documents.
• Development of analytical structures for research and transfer projects. Creation and maintenance of key figures and statistics on the evaluation of research performance, in particular with regard to the NRW National Research Report.
• Determination of the teaching deputy reductions for research and development of the tool for calculation.
• Inquiry management: processing internal and external enquiries, in particular on rankings and third-party reports.
• To a small extent (approximately 5 %): conceptual and administrative support of researchers in the application of funding. Consultation and assistance in the preparation of applications.

Your profile

You bring with

• A successfully completed academic study in information sciences, business informatics, administrative sciences, mathematics, engineering sciences, the exact natural sciences (e.g. chemistry or physics) or in a comparable subject area
• Strong analytical skills and a strong understanding of numbers, statistics and data analysis
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to explain complex facts in a comprehensible manner
• Safe handling of IT systems and a high affinity for technological developments and innovations; well-founded MS-Excel knowledge on advanced application level
• Structured and self-responsible working style, service-oriented, high commitment, team capacity and resilience

We also wish

• Doctoral or postgraduate studies (e.g. science management) desirable
• Experience in the preparation and maintenance of training documents
• Professional experience in science management, knowledge and experience in project management, ideally also change management, as well as application for funding
