Tasks

• They carry out analytical and numerical strength calculations FEM.
• They calculate the static strength as well as structural dynamic questions such as intrinsic values, forced vibrations, shock and FSI (acoustic elements, ALE, CFD FEM).
• You simulate and analyze Impact/ Crash / Detonations Loading
• You are dealing with shipbuilding drawings and depictions
• They work safely with regulations and standards (VDI, DNV, BV, DIN etc.) and agree with classification societies and authorities.
• They are in close cooperation with internal departments on strength-relevant issues.
• They work independently in new complex tasks and develop sustainable solutions.
• They actively participate in Fundamp;E projects and in the planning of ships.

Profile

• You have completed a degree in shipbuilding or mechanical engineering (Dipl.-Ing., Master or comparable).
• You will bring well-founded knowledge of EDV/CAD programs such as LSDyna, Hyperworks, Ansys, GL-Poseidon, Aveva Marine and NX.
• You're versed in dealing with MS Office.
• You have at least 46 years of professional experience in numerical strength calculation.
• They think conceptually and analytically and work independently and structured.
• You are strong in communication, capable of teaming and willing to take responsibility.
• You are ready to travel project-related to our Hamburg and Emden sites.
