Category Manager PV Installation (m/f/d)

In this position, you will bring your practical experience from the installation of large photovoltaic systems into an overarching, internationally oriented role and support purchasing with your technical expertise in selecting and developing suitable installation partners and after-contractors. In close cooperation with Procurement, Project Management, Engineering and Construction, you will ensure that our international projects are supported by technically suitable, efficient and reliable partners. A special focus is on building and developing our partner network in the British market.

Your tasks: Support of the Procurement organization in the selection, evaluation and development of suitable installation partners and subcontractors for international PV projects Identification and qualification of high-performance installation companies as well as targeted development of a reliable partner network, especially in the UK market Assessment of the technical performance, capacity and suitability of potential partners and expert advice on the procurement of installation services Introduction of sound market knowledge of the British PV and EPC market taking into account local requirements, regulatory frameworks and safety standards Close cooperation with Project Management, Engineering, Construction and Procurement to ensure smooth cooperation with the installation partners Further development of processes, quality requirements and standards for cooperation with downstream entrepreneurs based on practical construction site experience

Successfully completed studies in the field of business management, engineering, construction/project management or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in purchasing, supplier management, engineering or business development, ideally in the fields of renewable energies, construction, EPC or infrastructure Very good understanding of entrepreneur management, installation processes and project execution Experience in building and managing international supplier and partner networks Proofable successes in the negotiation of commercial and contractual agreements Embossed analytical skills and a structured and entrepreneurial way of thinking High communication and stakeholder management expertise in an international environment English knowledge and international readiness
