Head of Engineering for Photovoltaic Components (m/f/d)

As a company in the field of photovoltaics, Jurchen Technology GmbH offers a unique assembly system for photovoltaic outdoor installations. It is the only company that delivers solar assembly systems and DC cables from a single source. It focuses on a fast, cost-effective and easy installation process that delimits the assembly system from others. The installation process of the assembly system can be accomplished with minimal foundation and without heavy machines. Jurchen Technology GmbH has already built 152 plants in 29 countries with its assembly system.

Your SUPPLIES & APPLICABLE R 

• Leading and structuring an engineering team with 2-3 members in Germany and another team in India
• Taxation and prioritization of customer-related projects and overarching topics in cooperation with the CEO and CSO
• Takeover of R&D activities to guide the team towards “Daily Business”
• R&D focus: further development of the product and the installation processes Development and implementation of the research and development strategy
• Examination of the introduction of internal software for engineering activities to increase efficiency planning,
• Implementation and monitoring of R&D projects, including budgeting and time management
• Ensure that products meet performance, efficiency and safety requirements

Your PROFIL/REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Complete studies as a mechanical engineering engineer or in a comparable field, such as environmental engineering, with relevant professional experience in the field of photovoltaic assembly systems.
• Multiannual experience in photovoltaics, in particular in the development of assembly systems and their construction processes, as well as comprehensive knowledge in statics
• Mechanical engineer with strong interest in electronics and affinity for software applications
• Entrepreneurial and sales-oriented thinking and the willingness to conduct technical discussions with customers
• Proven leadership experience through the leadership of a team, paired with a motivating and strong leadership
• Regular presence on site for effective team leadership and a certain readiness to travel
• Excellent English skills and outstanding communicative skills
• Proactive and entrepreneurial thinking
• Creative approach and the ability to develop “out-of-the-box” solutions to enable individual customer adjustments.
