Lead Expert Maritime Systems Engineering (m/f/d)

Professional leadership of complex maritime system developments within the HENSOLDT portfolio, focusing on sensor, leadership and mission systems. Guidance of development projects and evaluation of modern system architectures for maritime platforms, including integration of highly networked sensor systems, software and effector systems. Demanding analysis of international customer requirements as well as derivation of technical system solutions taking into account safety, licensing and NATO standards. Responsibility for the technical control and support of development projects across the entire lifecycle – from concept phase to system integration and acceptance. Close cooperation with product lines, engineering teams, partners and customers to ensure system performance, quality and innovation. Technical/technical sales support for supply processes, system reviews and technical representation of HENSOLDT in projects, workshops and customer demos. Further development of methods, standards and technological roadmaps in the field of maritime systems to strengthen HENSOLDT competitiveness.

Complete study of the field of engineering, electrical engineering, communications technology, computer science, physics or comparable qualification Long-standing, versatile professional experience in the system engineering of complex defense or safety-relevant systems, ideally in the maritime environment. Funded knowledge of system architectures, model-based systems engineering (MBSE) as well as in maritime sensor systems, mission systems or systems. Knowledge of common tools (e.g. DOORS, JIRA, Windchill) Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. Influential experience in dealing with architecture standards and best practices, such as design patterns Funded knowledge in system engineering, process management and high conceptual capability Experience in technical project management and in dealing with international customers and partners. Embossed conceptual and analytical skills as well as a structured, solution-oriented way of working.
