The BBK is the head office of the Federal Government for National Crisis Management in Germany. We ensure the quality of crisis management in a central coordination role with federal, international and cross-sector partners. In view of this task, our interdisciplinary team is growing steadily. Development and further development of the EDV system – With your expertise, you support the externally assigned software development. In our in-house laboratories, you support the testing of computer applications in interaction with CBRN measurement technology and develop them together in the team. Practical introduction and support – you support the BBK in the delivery and implementation of the application systems with the focus on EDV (hardware and software). You will also receive 1st and 2nd level support (acceptance, error analysis, problem solution) in our user hotline. In addition, you will also be involved in practical application by supporting training and exercises. Supporting the infrastructure – you support the entire infrastructure “CBRN Reconnaissance”, distributed to mobile deployment vehicles, the VPN network and the servers (extension, maintenance, optimization, monitoring and documentation). For procurement, you create shares of the technical requirements and accompany the entire procurement process.

You have completed a completed training in the field of technical informatics or have successfully completed a comparable training with an IT-technical focus (e.g. as a technical/system informant, IT-system clerk/mann or the like). Optimumly, you have already gained several years of professional experience in an IT technical field. Ideal conditions can be met if you already have knowledge and experience from one or more of the following technical areas: Client, server and network technologies Firewall, VPN, basic BSI protection Java applications, JavaFX Databases

At best, you have already gained professional or voluntary experience in the field of civil and civil protection, e.g. through cooperation in a fire department, relief organization or THW. No need, but an advantage would be a class B driver's license, better still class C. You work independently and always keep in mind the concept of service and the goal in complex situations. Thanks to your valuable communication, you contribute to a positive team climate. You are willing to support the team as part of call-readiness to ensure trouble-free operation of our IT systems around the clock. You have a very good German language expressiveness in word and writing (comparable C2 according to the European reference framework). Since our tasks are safety-relevant and event-oriented, we need your willingness to extend the safety review and to participate in the BBK crisis organisation.

Application of officials – If you are in an official relationship, we will take you – in the presence of the career requirements for a federal service – until the grade A 9m is equal to the status by means of an assignment with the aim of the assignment.
