This is what awaits you in retraining: Retraining takes place in full-time (39 hours/week) and consists of theoretical and practical classes In a 3–4 month internal training with theory and practical phases, we form you as: to the switchboard: Theoretical teaching takes place in one of our regional training centers, your practice assignments take place in Goldshöfe. After your retraining, you take the following activities: As a switchboarder: you are responsible for the safe and timely execution of train and maneuvering on a control unit For example, you set up the complete road for the journey of a train (soft, road, signals) and thus ensure a safe exit from a station You work closely with the train taxer and communicate with your colleagues on the neighboring movements, with locomotives and with control points In addition, you are responsible for the issue, delivery and transmission of service messages and schedule notifications The control and monitoring of the tracks and the blocking of the tracks in case of malfunctions complete your exciting task field
