The Asklepios City Hospital Bad Tölz is an acute clinic for basic and regular care with 250 beds. The modernly equipped house has the departments of internal medicine with cardiology and gastroenterology, surgery, orthopaedics/accident surgery/ sports orthopaedics, urology, neck, nasal and ear medicine, anaesthesia, neurology with Stroke Unit and Akutgeriatrie. The Asklepios Health Centre Bad Tölz, connected to the city clinic, is a neurological rehabilitation facility in phases C and D with 49 plan beds. With a total of around 800 employees, over 12,000 patients are hospitalized each year. The clinic is connected to a private clinic and the educational centre for health professionals Bad Tölz. The city clinic is an academic teaching hospital of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and the Technical University of Munich
