Mechanic / Mechatronics Technician (m/w/d) Final Assembly and Commissioning of Packaging Machines

For more than 60 years, we have been developing packaging solutions that help people around the world. To ensure that machines work with the customer from Day One to error-free, running projects as planned and communicating entire packaging lines smoothly, we need people who keep an overview and let actions speak. As an in-house operator, you ask for our machines to be set up professionally – at our factory as well as at our customers on site (customer visits about 3-4x a year).

As diverse as our machines, your tasks are also yours. Machines and lines: You assemble machines and systems according to plans, including mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components. Start-up: You run the machines, put them in operation and ensure their operability. Tests & adaptations: You test and adapt the machines to ensure a smooth packaging process. Error diagnosis: You find and fix errors Documentation: First internal & external documentation Accompanying the Site Acceptance Test: You accompany the acceptance of the machines by our customers in our factory Reconstruction of machines/lines: Before sending the machine to the customer, build individual assemblies for shipping Construction at the customer: As an expert for the respective machine, you build it at the customer's premises and put it into operation (approximately 3-4 short customer setups per year) Customer training: You instruct the customer's employees in the assembled machines

Hard Fact: Complete vocational training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronic, also like motor mechatronics, etc. Experience: Advantageous in mechanical engineering and/or electrical skills Languages: Very good German knowledge + good English skills Self-responsibility: independent, solution-oriented work and cost awareness Team capability: Cooperative, flexible working style Ready to travel: For the machine installation at the customer - about 1x in the quarter (worldwide)
