Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

The clinic for acute and emergency medicine, which includes a short-term monitoring station with 10 beds (Emergency Care Unit), is responsible for supplying approximately 40,000 emergency patients per year in the outpatient and stationary area. The Klinikum Bremerhaven-Reinkenheide is a regional maximum provider with a large medical spectrum. The central emergency take-up meets the requirements of the comprehensive emergency supply level 3 according to the GBA decision. The KV-Bereitschaftsdienst is located in the immediate vicinity of the emergency room and the structural extension to an integrated emergency center is planned. In the emergency room, a highly motivated team with 5 senior doctors and a very varied and exciting activity with a lot of design playroom awaits you.

Your duties include the medical supervision of emergency reception and the permanent representation of the chief physician – as well as the continuous development and standardization of medical treatment concepts within the department.

IHR PROFIL:

• You are a specialist (m/w/d) for internal medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, neurology or general medicine and are interested in in interdisciplinary care.
• They have additional training “Clinical acute and emergency medicine”.
• Ideally, you have experience in the management and organization of an emergency.
• You will also enjoy the training and supervision of assistant physicians and the willingness to take over the "Clinical acute and emergency medicine" training authorisation.
