EY-Parthenon (Senior) Consultant Capital Equipment Valuation - Strategy and Transaction (w/m/d)

As part of our Strategy and Transaction Team, you can expect exciting and challenging projects in the Capital Equipment Valuation area in Düsseldorf or at our locations in Hamburg, Frankfurt/Main, Stuttgart, Munich and Berlin. You will participate in strategic decisions and major industrial transactions and gain insights into other transaction areas. You can do a variety of tasks: You advise our international customers: in cross-border projects in strategic and transaction-related issues in the area of Capital Equipment You analyze and evaluate business models and market potential by creating detailed financial analyses and business cases You conduct (customer) talks, primarily with factory managers and the accounting team, in order to capture their perspectives and requirements, develop effective strategies together and identify adequate market values for machines and technical equipment You will test machines on site and conduct comprehensive market research to develop sound assessment-relevant or strategic recommendations. You can also talk to machine manufacturers to see their current perspectives on the market and current machine prices You support the creation of meaningful reports and presentations for our customers:

You have a degree in the field of economic engineering, ideally with a focus on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or process engineering, or an engineering degree with an industrial background You have been able to gain first experience in the evaluation of Capital Equipment through study-related activities, or as a senior consultant, you have a well-founded professional experience with You draw your attention through outstanding analytical skills, critical thinking and a structured, accurate way of working You have knowledge of the English language You have very good MS Office knowledge and have ideally already gained first experience with the tool Alteryx or PowerBI and Machine Learning and have basic knowledge of a programming language
