Senior Software Architect Engineering (m/f/d)

You take responsibility for the future software architecture in the field of radar/EW engineering, develop these strategically and ensure coordination with the corporate and IT strategy You are the central contact person for software business requirements in the field of radar/EW engineering and accompany their implementation Software requirements analyse holistic, take into account processes and market and technology trends and control the implementation of suitable solutions to make our software sustainable and scalable Together with specialist departments, you are actively shaping digitalization initiatives, introducing innovative ideas and facilitating workshops for decision-making You advise executives, steering and control bodies around all questions in your area Ensure architectural compliance with Hensoldt-wide standards and specifications for implementations and their technical support You are actively involved in standardization initiatives and are responsible for these in your area Decisive posts structure proactively for our technology roadmap to ensure further innovation Management and cooperation in identifying, designing and implementing SW projects for our systems Working with the definition and creation of prototypes, final software as well as promoting new technologies, concepts and ideas to promote innovation Ensuring the functionality, performance and efficiency of the systems Ensure compliance with technical standards, IT security, data protection and best practices Support in the further development and optimization of existing systems Close cooperation with colleagues from other departments and external partners

You have a degree in computer science, economic informatics or a comparable qualification Long-standing professional experience in SW-Architecture and/or software development Knowledge gained in engineering business processes and related IT applications Experience in SW-Requirements-Engineering and Business Analysis is part of your competence area – ideally complemented by project experience in the engineering environment Excellent problem solving skills and analytical thinking skills Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills Strong communication and presentation skills to understand technical concepts and solutions and to make decisions Teamability and cooperation with various internal and external stakeholders Multiannual experience in cooperation with interdisciplinary teams and in consulting specialist areas Cloud & Tech: Experiences with cloud solutions and modern technological approaches Very good knowledge of German and English Ready for business trips
