Application Development Manager – hybrid (m/w/d)

Being a leading supplier of engineering plastics, the Basic Materials & Polymers business domain develops added value materials that meet the needs of end users and helps its customers with product development.

About the Role: You identify and develop new market opportunities by translating customer needs and market trends into material and design requirements. You provide technical support, secure business, and drive growth for engineering plastics. Acting as a key link between R&D and Sales, you generate business and offering insights to shape future products, leveraging your proven experience in this senior role. You identify and develop new business opportunities for engineering plastics in key global market segments You translate customer needs into material, design, and functional requirements to secure existing and new business You support the business organization through effective project management and the use of CRM tools You provide technical support to ensure product quality and processing performance You analyze market and technology trends to meet new product developments You develop strategic value propositions and contribute to business planning You create marketing and communication materials in collaboration with the MCG team

You have an MSc/PhD in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Chemical Technology with several years of industry experience You are familiar with processing technologies for engineering plastics (e.g., injection molding, extrusion) You bring strong technical expertise, conceptual skills, and communication abilities You are fluent in English; English or French is a plus You are willing to travel race (10–25%)
