As a transmission system operator, we secure the power supply for around eleven million people in Baden-Württemberg. We create the infrastructure for the energy transition by maintaining, optimizing and expanding the high-voltage network according to needs. With our network, we not only make the country an innovative power turntable in the heart of Europe, but also make the energy system of the future significant. The Plant Operations Unit is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the TransnetBW transformers and DC systems in the area. Furthermore, on behalf of the project management, we carry out the quality control for commissioned construction measures on the network. The aim of the plant operation is to ensure trouble-free and accident-free operation with high plant availability. You maintain the high-voltage network (recharging plants and infrastructure) within the competence of our company Bruchsal. You move daily between Baden-Baden in the south and Weinheim in the north of the area. You are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the maximum voltage network according to VDE 0105 T 100, including inspection, maintenance and repair in the substations and in the free lines. You assume the plant responsibility during the execution of work for the safe operation of the electrical system at your workstation. You advise and support team management in matters relating to maintenance, maintenance and disorder as well as process improvement. You participate in the standby service for the localization and elimination of errors. You like to work independently and love the freedom to start directly from your home.

You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, e.g. to the electronics company for operating technology (m/w/d). You ideally have proven knowledge in switching systems construction and in operation or maintenance of transmission or distribution networks (high, medium and low voltage). You are motivated to acquire additional qualifications. You are characterised by teamwork, independent working and flexibility. You have a high readiness for use and travel and have a class B licence.
