The Caritasverband für das Erzbistum Hamburg e. V. is one of the largest carriers of the Free Well-being Care in northern Germany and is engaged with around 2,400 employees in about 220 social facilities and services in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg. The basis of action is the Christian human image, combined with a professional, economically responsible and forward-looking approach. The Finance, Personnel and Organisation business unit creates the conditions for the economic stability and sustainable development of the Association. In addition to finance and personnel, it also includes responsibility for the organisational further development of the central administrative and service processes and thus contributes significantly to the sustainability of the overall organisation. In this responsible key position, you are responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Finance, Personnel and Organisation business unit. Together with your executives, you develop the economic, human and organizational frameworks for future-oriented organisational development. As an austerity partner*in the Executive Board, you advise on financial, personal and organizational issues, develop sound basis of decision and actively shape the ongoing transformation process. With your business expertise, you are responsible for financial and accounting, liquidity, investment and economic planning, accompanying financial statements and audits and continuously developing reporting. The strategic development of efficient organisational structures and cross-departmental processes is one of your responsibility as well as the digitization of central management processes and the continuous optimization of internal services. Through a modern understanding of leadership, you promote self-responsibility, trust and cooperation and develop structures, processes and employees in a sustainable manner.

A successfully completed academic study, for example in Business Administration, Economics, Public Management, Economic Law, Administration and a comparable qualification, forms the basis of your expertise. Ideally, you have experience in controlling complex organizational and change processes. Multi-annual leadership experience in a complex organization as well as sound knowledge in financial and accounting and human resources management allow you to handle challenging control tasks. Strategic thinking, entrepreneurial action and experience in the accompaniment of change processes characterize your work. With analytical strength, high liability, negotiation skills and a sovereign appearance, you can convince both in cooperation with bodies and with internal and external stakeholders. Ideally, you will bring experiences from the social economy, health care or a non-profit organization.
