Short description The Karlsbader Straße daycare centre was opened in 2015 and is located on the edge of Rüsselsheim with a view of Raunheim. The modern furnishings are two-storey. In the immediate vicinity are fields, gardens and small tree-grown green areas. In April 2019 the nature group was attached to our house. Educational principles The Kita Karlsbader Straße is the first movement and nature of the town of Rüsselsheim am Main. Since spring 2018 we have been wearing the quality seal “Hessischer Movementkindergarten der Sportjugend Hessen”. In addition to educational-oriented educational content, the focus of our concept is the promotion of movement and motor skills. In a “movement skita”, the free and guided movement of children is at the heart of the Kitaalltag and the spatial design. Our daily structure includes holistic learning through movement pedagogical approaches. We are a partially open house where the child and the participation as well as the movement are the focus. In the premises of the children's daycare centre, the children always have the opportunity to accept these offers, but also to find retreats. The functional rooms offer children a stimulating and prepared environment and invite them to discover everyday life. The profile in everyday education In our “movement skita” movement is understood as the design instrument of our work. Our space concept is based on it and offers enough space and opportunity for activities and movement games. The child actively shapes his development. So we start the day with moving morning circles that invite you to join us and are especially fun and joy for all children. Daily free and guided movements in the gym are part of our movement pedagogical orientation. Solid weekly days of movement in the vicinity also offer the children natural language occasions and extend the language skills of the children. Every child will be able to develop individual steps in the construction of his personality. Projects and possibilities for participation complement our educational priorities and make the daily routine transparent. You offer children linguistic education, orientation and co-determination. Our rooms are spaces of experience and emphasis that are redesigned by the co-determination of the children. The inclusion of parents in our project work is an important part of our educational work.
