Head of Accounting (m/f/d)

You are responsible for clear structures, reliable financial statements and accounting, which can be stressed at any time in an international environment. Conclusion & Taxes: You first set annual financial statements according to HGB independently and on time – also according to IFRS. You can control national and international sales tax law, in particular the tax assessment of cross-border issues in the trade environment. Reporting & Compliance: You are responsible for the entire reporting system to the Federal Statistical Office and other authorities – completely and in time. External partners: You are the central interface to banks, tax advisors, auditors, insurance companies and shareholders – both nationally and internationally. You will accompany start-ups and liquidations abroad if necessary. Guided tour & cooperation: You run the Accounting team professionally and disciplinefully, work closely with all disciplines and complete finance projects independently.

This role is for you when you understand accounting as a control instrument – and are ready to prove it in a growing international company. Education & experience: You have a completed study or training in the field of taxes, finance or accounting and have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience – ideally with a firm background or from the wholesale environment. The tax peculiarities of trade are familiar to you. Technical depth: HGB degrees you will be sure and independent. In international sales tax law, especially in cross-border situations, you are confident. Experience with partnerships and international social structures is a plus. Systems & Tools: You are a technology affinity and move safely into ERP systems – ideally with experience in Microsoft Business Central or comparable solutions. Personality: You are hands-on, structured and do not lose sight of complex facts. You communicate clearly with partners as well as with external partners. Languages: English and German in C1 level, other languages – in particular Spanish or Italian – are welcome.
