As part of the Hamburg metropolitan region, the district of Segeberg is conveniently located in the middle of Schleswig-Holstein between the North and the Baltic Sea and is a reliable employer for around 1,100 employees.

The specialist service “district planning, regional management, climate protection” currently has 9 employees who are committed to the spatial development in the district, the construction planning and many other space-relevant projects, as well as bus transport and climate protection.

Its strategic orientation and further development – from the leadership of the team to the management of central projects to active participation in regional development and future topics. In this case, you act visibly inward and outward, shaping important decision-making processes and contributing to the sustainable advance of the circle and the region.

You assume an indefinite position in the district of Segeberg. Influential academic studies, ideally in the field of urban and regional planning, spatial planning or geography with a focus on urban planning. For other non-restrictive studies, additional skills and knowledge acquired through multiannual professional experience are assumed in accordance with relevant technical higher education. Professional experience or sound knowledge in the field of construction planning are required, ideally in the context of public authorities Experience in personnel management and project management are desirable Comprehensive legal knowledge, in particular in building planning law, spatial planning law and municipal law, as well as safe handling of commentary and jurisdiction are advantageous Safe handling of geoinformation systems, relevant EDV applications (e.g. MS Office, Allris) and participation portals as well as openness for new expert EDV applications are evaluated as a plus point Impressed analytical and conceptual skills as well as action-oriented and decision-making Secure written and oral communication, also within the framework of lectures Valuable cooperation with relevant stakeholders as well as safe skills in moderation and constructive conflict resolution Professional knowledge of German (at least C1 according to the Common European Framework for Languages) is required Willingness to participate in committee meetings also outside the core working hours Class B and 3 licences and the willingness to use your own car for reimbursement
