Since 1949 the Aachen settlement and housing company mbH has been building apartments for people. After the war, the Aachener was founded in Aachen with a significant participation by the archbishops Cologne and Paderborn as well as the bis-owners Aachen and Münster. In 1950 the seat was moved to Cologne. In the post-war years, it was the task of society to participate in the reconstruction and to promote housing. From the outset, a focus of work was to provide broad sections of the population with affordable housing and housing.

You combine technical know-how with organizational talent? In the position as a technician (m/w/d) emptiness management, you will accompany apartments from return to re-lease and ensure the timely implementation of all repair and modernization measures.

Your duties

Technical support and control of empty apartments to re-lease Implementation of housing visits as well as findings of damage and modernization requirements in coordination with our property supervisors Coordination and supervision of craft firms in renovation and repair measures Ensuring rapid and economic recovery of landlordability Creation of performance directories and collection of offers Date control and quality control of the work carried out Coordination with rental, management and external service providers Documentation of empty spaces, measures, costs and completion times Implementation of technical decreases in housing allowances

Complete technical or craft training (e.g. plant mechanics, electricians, painters, etc.) A further development to the technician/master is advantageous Multiannual professional experience, ideally in housing or building management Good knowledge about Microsoft Office programs, ideally with WODIS Yuneo Driving licence class B and willingness to work across locations Own-sponsored and structured operation Safe appearance, teamability and reliability
