The Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) is one of the largest practice-oriented universities in Bavaria and covers a wide range of subjects with the fields of technology, social and economic sciences, design and languages. We accompany around 9,300 students in more than 70 courses on their educational path. Currently we have the following place to occupy: Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering IT System Administrator (w/m/d) in full time Application code: 01.1.764 The place shall be occupied at the next possible time, the place of service shall be located in Würzburg. The recruitment is carried out as part of a representation for 6 years and full-time (40 hours/week). An extension is sought; the place is in principle part-time, provided that the full implementation of the tasks is ensured by job sharing.

Care, organisation and administration of the faculty's IT activities System administration and maintenance of the existing IT infrastructure of the faculty as well as monitoring the efficient and secure integration of the systems into the THWS university network Development, maintenance and optimization of databases and their integration in various applications Advising the teaching staff for the procurement, installation and commissioning of hardware/software, including the central IT department and taking into account the existing high-level IT guidelines and IT standards Check the feasibility of new information technology targets and specifications of the faculty management Development of concepts for implementing the IT-specific faculty strategy and subsequent implementation and configuration

successfully completed relevant university studies (e.g. Bachelor or FH diploma) or a comparable relevant qualification strong experience in IT administration, in particular the support of IT workplaces good knowledge of operating systems (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android) and common client applications (e.g. MS 365) and basic knowledge of MS Active Directory and user account maintenance and access permission management Commitment, flexibility and team capacity Continuous learning willingness to adapt expertise to current needs ideally (vocational)experience with the construction industry
