To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for one at the locations Karlsruhe, Meersburg, Stuttgart or Ulm System Engineer / IT Consultant – Backup (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d). As a System Engineer / IT Consultant (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) with a focus on backup, you are ideally familiar with the specific requirements for backup and restore, archive and retrieve as well as the requirements of mass data storage. In each project phase (concept work, architectural design, implementation, integration) you are co-responsible for the quality of the project and, according to this understanding, you will work on your tasks.

They analyze the requirements of our customers to identify the optimal solution. They accompany the backup environments of our customers, from the presales phase to the implementation and final documentation. Support your technical expertise You are our sales staff, both in professional care and in the further development of our existing customers. The planning of complex and heterogeneous IT solutions, based on modern IT architectures in today's data center, will give you pleasure. Take over the overall technical responsibility for your projects and enjoy sharing your knowledge with the customer during presentations and product demonstrations.

Complete IT-oriented training, e.g. a specialist in system integration (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) or a comparable degree, e.g. in the field of computer science and/or Business informatics, but also a cross-entry is possible with appropriate expertise Finded experiences with one or more of the following backup manufacturers: Veeam, Heading, Cohesity or Commvault Basic understanding of the technical and commercial requirements and customer dependencies in finding new solutions Up-to-date certifications of one or more of the above manufacturers as well as a great interest in continuing training here are desirable. Ideally, you already had contact with public cloud platforms. Good communication skills with very good German (level C1 or higher) and English skills (level B2 or higher) General readiness to travel within Germany
