Number: MER0003Z2J Hey, you! Are you ready to start as an intern in the Cost Engineering for semiconductor and electronic components? Our new, dynamic team in Sindelfingen is looking for you! We at the cost planning electronics stand on the small things – the chips – and are at home in Finance, but technology is our thing. Your mission: Be part of our team and immerse yourself in the analysis of semiconductor components! Learn everything about production in chip factories and how our suppliers work. Experience how these parts create control units and the “nerve system” of our cars. With us you can actively build knowledge and introduce your own ideas. Use the knowledge to support our purchase in cost optimization and our development in optimal product design. In addition, we keep our competitors constantly in sight. We disassemble, analyze and evaluate the vehicles of competition to derive ideas for improving our own products. Your duties as part of the internship: Cost assessment of electronic components of the core architecture of competition vehicles

Analysis and comparison of high-performance semiconductor components and research of technical product parameters

Scan the market with regard to new, available semiconductor components and inclusion of components in our internal costing database

Learn about different business areas (technology and costs)

Does this sound exciting for you? Then come to us and become part of an innovative team that wants to shape the future of electronics! We help you to acquire the skills you need and provide you with an experienced colleague as a sponsor during the internship. Activity can begin from April 2026
