Your tasks with us: You shall examine applications for construction and pre-inquiries with a view to compliance with the provisions on preventive fire protection. This includes the plausibility of fire protection concepts and assessments as well as the authorisation of deviations from fire protection regulations and the establishment of necessary compensation measures. You carry out fire prevention and, together with the property owners, point out that established fire protection defects are eliminated. You advise builders, architects and municipalities in matters of preventive fire protection.

Take this with you: Complete studies in architecture or civil engineering with a focus on building (Dipl.-Ing. or Bachelor/M.Sc.) or comparable qualification. Additional qualification in preventive fire protection or willingness to continue vocational training as a specialist planner/in fire protection. Empathy, enforcement and negotiation skills as well as an independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working. Standing for external services.
