The Department of Planning and Auditing in Control and Safety Engineering is part of the PSV principle organisation and develops the quality-assurance foundations of the testing processes by preparing technical and processual contents for testing in the railway infrastructure, developing test methods, accommodating the introduction of new technologies and supporting the test experts in technical exchange. In your role, you develop conceptual standards for test procedures in control and safety technology as well as IT-supported test tools and accompany their transfer to practical application You analyse new technologies, designs and systems of control and safety technology in terms of their impact on testing methodology and derive technical requirements for testing and content As part of the further development of the test method, you design applicable test standards across the country as well as technical reference and assessment bases and promote their uniform application In addition, you will significantly participate in the further development of test processes, guides and control unit contents and bring the perspective of the plan and acceptance examination into the technical design You accompany the further development and certification of IT-assisted test tools and transfer technical requirements into digital testing processes taking into account feedback from test practice Together with specialist areas and interface partners, you develop requirements for manufacturers and systems and ensure that testability and test requirements are taken into account early You promote the structured exchange between test experts and develop a professional expert network

Your profile:

You have a degree in electrical engineering, information technology, communications technology, automation technology or a comparable qualification with a technical focus In addition, you have over several years of professional experience in control and safety technology as a safety-relevant system of railway infrastructure, for example as a test engineer:in, system engineer:in, safety engineer or technical:r project manager:in the context of control and safety technology You bring experience in the analysis of complex technical systems as well as the derivation of requirements for testing, validation or detection processes and have contributed to the development or application of technical standards or test methods In dealing with complex technical relationships, you work conceptually and develop systematic test and evaluation logics as well as existing methodological foundations You can safely move into technical interfaces between specialist areas, manufacturers and internal networks and can easily process complex issues A pronounced IT affinity and excellent knowledge in MS Office 365, especially Excel for analysis and data processing, ideally complemented by knowledge in the Microsoft Power Platform complete your profile
