In the course of an on-the-job and simulator training, you will be intensively prepared and certified for your new role as a system management engineer (m/w/d). After your period of incorporation, you assume the operational responsibility for the system balance in the control zone of TransnetBW and operate our European optimization systems in the shift service. You deal with disturbances in the transmission network in close coordination with European partners and are responsible for the fault limitation and the introduction of short- and medium-term measures. You actively communicate with our partners and market participants in the control zone and in Europe and coordinate Redispatch actions. You monitor the system balance in our control zone, in Germany and in Europe and work on special tasks within the system management with a focus on the system balance.

You have completed your studies in engineering, technical cybernetics, industrial engineering or electrical engineering. You bring good knowledge of control technology and have a very good understanding of complex technical and energy-economic relationships. You are ideally familiar with the processes of system balance and network control. You are a team player (m/w/d), work very independently, proactively and flexibly and always keep a cool head in load situations. You have knowledge of German and very good English in word and writing. You are ready to be certified in the company in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/1485 and have no red-green weakness (G25 study). The place requires a background and a security check.
