In Germany we have our headquarters in Frankfurt am Main and are represented with offices in Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Stuttgart, Nuremberg and Munich as well as in Hannover, Weimar, Koblenz, Freiburg and Überlingen. Our field of action is the development and realization of housing projects. For our region North with locations in Hamburg and Hanover, we are looking for an experienced, team-oriented and pragmatic team for Hamburg to support the team Projektentwicklung (m/w/d) turnkey housing construction In the position as Head of Project Development, you are responsible for the strategic management of the project development from the property acquisition to the construction maturity through the implementation of the defined corporate goal in close cooperation with the management team and the Director Development. You conduct a team of project developers professionally and disciplinefully in compliance with the strategic corporate objectives. You control resources and budgets and contribute to the long-term development and orientation of BPD-DE.

Ensuring a balanced property portfolio by identifying and evaluating land potentials in close cooperation with the Research area to analyze market, location and cost-effectiveness data, as well as using buyer feedback and ESG benchmarks Leadership and development of a team of self-responsible project developers within the meaning of the corporate strategy and promote interdisciplinary cooperation in solving planning and realisation challenges Ensuring the development of marketable residential products by translating mark requirements into resilient product definitions and applying structured specifications for efficient planning Ensuring the integration of economic feasibility through early integration of distribution and realization to increase the feasibility and logging Close cooperation with other regions/departments and coordination with regional management and director development Ensuring the establishment of a systematic product thinking through serial/ modular planning and standardized grids, balancing creativity and standardization Monitoring of risks in projects, reporting (acquisition processes, cost increase) and development of control measures

(university) degree as an economic engineer with a focus on building/immobility, architect or building engineer, alternative property-relevant degree with architectural, urban planning orientation At least 10 years of professional experience with demonstrable successes in project development, ideally with deeper knowledge in building law procurement Insufficient experience in the professional and disciplinary leadership of a team of professionals Solid knowledge of German government structures, relevant legislation, land register and building regulations as well as experience in dealing with political, economic and legal frameworks A resilient network in the construction and real estate industry or Interest in professional contact care German and English in word and writing; safe handling of modern IT
