In the CSIRT-HZD team, you are responsible for the assessment and treatment of vulnerabilities, cyber threats and attack patterns as well as their ordered follow-up and prepare information according to target groups. You perform automated and vulnerability scans, process security incidents by process and monitor and evaluate security information and protocol data. This will help you to keep the HZD IT infrastructure safe and identify potential threats at an early stage before You can cause damage.

You have a completed relevant higher education of computer science, IT security or a comparable degree course or you have comparable knowledge. You have knowledge and experience in the evaluation and treatment of IT security centres and cyber threats. Ideally within the framework of activities in a CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) or CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) or SOC (Security Operation Center). You have knowledge of security requirements according to the BSI basic protection or ISO 27001 as well as comprehensive knowledge about IT system architectures in the area of hardware, operating systems, networks and specialist applications. You have good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least C1 level) and good understanding of German and English texts and sources in the area of information security and cyber defence. You bring analytical thinking power that enables you to penetrate problems quickly, develop independent solutions and work into complex topics.
