We are looking for you as Senior Consultant Rolling Stock (w/m/d) for DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH at the Berlin site. Your tasks: In this role, you take responsibility for national and international projects around rail vehicles – you accompany the projects from procurement to admission to successful operation You advise national and international clients on technical, operational and maintenance-related issues in the field of rail vehicles and coordinate specialist experts as needed: Depending on the size and complexity of the project, you work in national and international projects or take over their management – in particular in the areas of vehicle procurement, admission and operational introduction The clear focus in your projects is on the implementation of a corresponding quality, taking into account the dates and economic success You ensure performance in your area of responsibility, control projects in compliance with deadline, quality, efficiency and budget requirements and build a trusted customer relationship to identify additional performance needs The development of our service portfolio and the associated performance processes and the targeted use of innovative methods, digital solutions and market impulses is another part of your responsibility

Your profile: The basis of your career is a successfully completed technical/university study in rail vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable field of expertise. You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of railway vehicle technology, licensing procedures and technical project management Experience in vehicle engineering can be demonstrated – ideally in high-speed traffic – and can safely formulate, evaluate, test and translate technical design requirements into concrete measures. You provide a solid understanding of the maintenance of rail vehicles and lifecycle costs, availability and operational requirements with You know the procurement process of rail vehicles over the entire life cycle – from specifications and tender documents to implementation and operational introduction to warranty and optimization topics You work in a solution-oriented manner, structure complex themes and advance projects with your own initiative, innovation joy and a clear look for results On top you are happy to work in international and intercultural teams, communicate safely in German and English and convince by conflictability, flexibility and willingness to work in Germany and abroad This is important to us: Our claim is to offer all candidates the same opportunities for entry with us, both with equal suitability.
