Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

How to spend your time:

• You are responsible for the independent production of monthly and annual accounts according to HGB and Swiss GAAP FER. • You will take care of the current main accounting, including asset accounting, provisions and accounting. • You create and control sales tax pre-registrations and summarising messages and, together with our external tax advisors, assist in preparing tax returns. • You will start liquidity planning and ad hoc analyses and provide important information for management. • You are actively involved in budget planning and development of rolling forecasts, especially for operating costs, and work closely with sales and group controlling. • You analyze and continuously monitor the operating costs, perform deviation analyses and identify optimization options. • You are the central contact for the supervised companies and act as an interface to our internal shared service center (SSC). • You coordinate cooperation with auditors, tax advisors, auditers and internal departments. • You are responsible for compliance with tax, legal and internal regulations. • You actively promote the further development, standardization and digitization of our accounting processes. • You support cross-departmental financial projects, such as system changes or the further development of policies and standards.

You bring it with :

• You have a completed commercial training and have retrained yourself to the audited account holder (IHK / Bachelor Professional) or completed a degree in business administration with a focus on finance, accounting or accounting. • You have collected at least 5 years of deep professional experience in the operational accounting and production of financial statements in Germany. • You have a clear knowledge of German trade and tax law. Knowledge of international accounting, especially Swiss GAAP FER, is advantageous. • You are versed in handling SAP and have excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel. • You work analytically and structured, are independent, reliable and solution-oriented. • You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with various internal and external partners. • You are a team player and feel comfortable in an international business environment. • You speak German at a negotiated level and have good English skills.
