Team Leader IT / Digitization Management Officer (m/f/d)

The German Foundation for International Judicial Cooperation (IRC) is an association established on the initiative of the Federal Ministry of Justice, which, on behalf of the Federal Government, supports partner states in East and South-East Europe, (Central)Asia, in the South Caucasus, in the Middle East and Africa in the reform of their legal systems. The IRZ is looking for a full-time /part-time (from 80% of jobs) at the Bonn or Berlin site at the earliest possible time Teamleiter (m/w/d) As a central department, the Central Services Division performs essential cross-sectional tasks to ensure the functioning of the IRZ. In the function as a team manager IT/referent*in digitization management, you initiate the field of expertise, develop the IT landscape forward-looking and actively advance the digitization of the IRZ.

Technical and disciplinary management of the Department of Information Technology with currently two employees as well as the field of receivable/internal service with currently one employee (these tasks are co-ordinated in the team) Ensuring a modern, cost-effective and secure IT operation as well as further development and adaptation of IT systems and the IT infrastructure Control, coordination and quality assurance of outsourced IT services Strategic and forward-looking further development of the department, IT infrastructure and advancement of digitalization Planning and implementation of the necessary procurement measures Independent conception, management and implementation of IT and digitalization projects, standardization and optimization of IT processes Advice and support for IT topics and management of IT security Conducting economic analysis and managing license management Other tasks for optimal performance of the department

completed university studies (Master) in a relevant subject area (e.g. computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering) or comparable training and experience multiannual, relevant professional experience in the field of IT, e.g. as team management/group management Current knowledge of the entire MS environment, ERP systems and modern IT architectures Experience in the design, management and implementation of IT and digitalization projects Good communication skills at all operational levels and in handling external service providers High performance, hand-on mentality and design will Experience in leadership of employees Knowledge and experience in public administration desirable Willingness to work quickly into new tasks excellent knowledge of German in word and writing, due to the international work of the IRZ, good English skills are of advantage
