You are responsible for the technical management and on-time processing of complex national but also occasional international orders and projects of technical engineering in the area of Radsatz and Radsatzlager With your expert knowledge, you will accompany the entire product life cycle of wheelsets and their components for your customers. The range of tasks includes the development of product requirements for load specification for wheel sets and wheel set bearings, as well as the testing of their performance in the context of design reviews and initial sample tests For general technical inquiries regarding the task area of wheel sets and in particular for deviations from the desired state in operation, you are a direct contact person and, if necessary, develop solutions for your customers together with other departments. You participate in the professional and content development of your task. To do this, you will learn about current developments in research, science and relevant industries and actively share your knowledge with the colleagues: If necessary, you will also attend internships and graduations

Your profile:

You have a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable field of expertise Ideally, you bring professional experience in the field of wheel sets, wheel set bearings or rail vehicle technology and are interested in the design of components and their calculation High flexibility and readiness for business trips and occasional foreign missions are not a problem for you Strong enforcement capability, strong communication skills and high reliability are yours independent and structured work is important to you Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English complete your profile
