Do you bring experience in social work and want to use them specifically in the care of older people? Then strengthen our team in the capital care house John F. Kennedy and take responsibility for consulting and accompanying the residents. The Vivantes Forum for Senioren GmbH operates 18 capital care homes with a total of 2,337 fully-steady care areas. The capital care house John F. Kennedy is centrally located in Wittenau and offers 111 nursing places in the general area as well as 69 places in a specialized gerontopsychiatric unit. In bright, quiet spaces the individual needs of our residents are at the heart of our daily activities.

Your duties

• Psychosocial counselling and support for residents and relatives, e.g. at home costs, applications, authorisations and judicial care and/or legal questions • Acquisition, support for the occupancy of the institution • Crisis intervention and participation in family meetings • participation in recruitment and assistance of volunteer visit services • cooperation with home management, care, administration and external services, e.g.

This will bring you

• Complete, state-recognized study of social work/social pedagogy or comparable qualification • Experience in work with older people and in the field of old-age care and knowledge in home and social law (Heimgesetz, BSHG, SGB XI, right of care) • Solid EDV application knowledge • Self-employed and committed working methods as well as sensitivity and social competence • Collaborative readiness and team skills in the multiprofes environment
