Internship in the area of digitalization in production Job ID 73620 | Location Crailsheim | from now on for a duration of 6 months How can data gain added value for production? What's in sensor signals? What information will be needed to control an entire work? How to automate digital process processes? How to build microservices? How to design an interactive step-by-step guide for mounting large gears? Which data is suitable for? And how to write efficient queries? How is a robot controlled? What are the latest trends in the digitization of production? What services are especially suitable for Voith production? These are just a few of the questions we are dealing with daily in the Smart Operations team. We are a young, international team from the fields of engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics and technology. Become part of us and design the production of tomorrow! What tasks do you expect? As part of our team, you develop concepts for solutions for concrete problems in our production with us.

You help us to analyze, prepare, visualize and explain the anger of data that occurs in such a large production as ours, e.g.

by building Amir and Samer Dashboards in Grafana with our Data Engineers or writing the database queries, or

by mapping our servers with our Data Architects Franzi and Jan, configuring databases or unveiling a small front end for a microservice, or

by going very close to the machines and systems with our Field Data Architects Julia and Thomas, incorporating sensors or controls, or

by collecting, structuring and accompanying new ideas for improvement with our project developer Jan

What are you doing? University or university studies (> 4th semester) in the fields of engineering, computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, economic engineering, cognition sciences or a comparable degree course

Fascination for handling data in demanding production processes and a high level of readiness

Knowledge in a (programming)language such as Python, SQL, or JS are of advantage, perhaps even experience with Git, Docker or no-SQL databases such as mongoDB or influxDB (hey, you can also apply as a communication designer, then you'll just turn videos about Data Science and support the transformation in your mind)

We are not looking for perfectly trained experts, but for someone with passionate motivation to grow and learn with us. What you can't do, we'll teach you! We expect full commitment.
