Quality Manager – Fresh Fruit and Vegetables (m/f/d)

To ensure the highest quality and fresh goods every day, we need motivated team players to start together! You ensure the quality and product safety of our fresh products and monitor the quality processes in receipt of goods and in preparation. As a central cutting point between warehouses, suppliers, controllers and customers, you contribute significantly to compliance with statutory and customer-specific quality requirements. The Frischeplattform Südwest GmbH is looking for the 01.05.2026 dedicated reinforcement: Quality Manager (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) – fresh fruit and vegetables for the night shift.

Monitoring and control of receipt of goods including qualitative and documentary checks Decision on the imprisonment of goods, the release of goods and the processing of complaints in receipt of goods Contact person for external goods input and goods output controllers as well as for all quality-relevant questions Coordination, monitoring and control of processing processes (e.g. sorting, labelling, packaging) Ensure product safety, traceability and compliance with valid certificates and specifications Other regular activities: Coordination and implementation of label checks and checks Documentation of quality deviations in receipt of goods, stock and goods Structured transfer of all quality-relevant events from the night to the fresh conductor (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) of our customer Testing and tracking of supplier and producer certificates Creating, maintaining and developing sorting and quality specifications Contact for employees, customers and suppliers on QM-relevant topics

Multiannual professional experience in quality management or a comparable function, ideally in the area of fruit & vegetables / fresh logistics Complete vocational training in the food or food environment Safe handling of food requirements (e.g. HACCP, LMHV, traceability) Remarkable: Training seminar for quality controllers (BLE training) Training in food hygiene, product safety or QS/IFS standards Good documentation and communication skills, also in dealing with customers and authorities High level of decision-making, sense of responsibility and strength of implementation readiness to stay and to weekend and holiday services Basic computer knowledge
