Your future job:

You are a development engineer (m/w/d) in the field of measurement technology systems and sensor technology for our customers from the aerospace industry at Munich.

As part of engine development, new construction and repair, engine and component tests are of essential importance. The team of test technology supports these complex experiments in a rapidly evolving environment. Therefore, new and further developments in special measurement techniques and data analysis methods are continuously required.

As a measurement engineer (m/w/d) in the field of engine and component testing, you are responsible for designing new measurement and analysis methods. They look at the full measuring chain from the sensor to cabling and electronic signal processing to analysis software. Their measurement solutions are mainly used in the field of development testing and generate data for the approval and development of our components.

Your tasks:

• New and further development of measurement methods and systems
• Tuning requirements with specialist departments
• Conception of measurement structures
• Calibration, construction and removal of complex measuring systems
• Technical support in development tests
• Error detection and fixation
• Advising the specialist departments in interpreting measurement results
• Presentation and discussion of results with the customer
• Documentation of work in the form of measurement protocols and reports
• Implementation of technology projects in the field of measurement technology/instrumentation
• Working with the acquisition, offering of order measurements with technology, schedule, costs

Your profile:

• Complete studies in the field of physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Experience in project management
• Very good knowledge of digital and analog measurement technology, signal conditioning, electronic circuits and microcontroller programming
• Safe handling of Python
• Good knowledge of MS-Office
• German and English knowledge in word and writing
