As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security.

The Service Center Ingolstadt ensures on-site service with the users of the Bundeswehr. This includes interference, new installations and refresh for IT and TK end devices and systems. As a team leader for the field service, you work closely with the team manager in-house and support the overall manager for the service center.

Your profile:

Complete vocational training in the IT sector or a comparable qualification

At least five years of relevant professional experience in the IT environment, ideally with leadership experience

• Multiannual professional experience as Service Technician ideally required in the IT/TK environment

Designed analytical thinking for controlling complex processes and high organisational skills in the planning of operational activities

Leadership and delegation capacity in the management of teams and in the handling of interface partners

Conflictability and safe occurrence even in challenging situations

Impressed customer and quality orientation as well as communication, presentation and moderation strength

ITIL Foundation Certification

Knowledge of the peculiarities of the customer Bundeswehr are advantageous

German language skills in word and writing

Driving licence Class B and mobility readiness

Your tasks:

Professional leadership, coordination and motivation of a team of about 20 employees in the technical field

Planning, control and control of all on-site activities including operational planning and project implementation

Monitoring of service provision and ensuring defined service level agreements (SLAs)

Continuous optimization of workflows and processes in operational operation

Participation in training, knowledge transfer and systematic know-how building

Representation of BWI in day-to-day business as a central contact person for customers, users, projects, IT managers, service providers and foreign companies – in particular for problems and escalations
