Number: MER000495L We are responsible for the design, mechanical development, testing and series release of innovative charging systems for Mercedes-Benz cars. We accompany the entire product development process from first prototypes to series use and work closely with various development and experimental areas. For this exciting and varied task we are looking for an intern to support our team. Your tasks in detail: Optimization of test bench programs for testing exhaust gas turbochargers at component and full engine test benches Support in the planning and coordination of tests on test benches and vehicles Monitoring and support of test benches and vehicles Evaluation, analysis and evaluation of measurement data and derivation of appropriate measures Dismantling, finding and documentation of test parts Preparation and reprocessing of exhaust gas turbochargers for test bench and vehicle testing Maintenance, evaluation and further development of documentation databases for experimental operation Independent processing of transferred work packages and project tasks What awaits you: A varied field of activity with direct cooperation awaits you throughout the product development process of innovative charging technologies. Course in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable course of studies Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office First experiences with evaluation tools such as MDA, CANape, Diadem or Uniplot are advantageous Commitment, sense of responsibility and independent working Teamability and a pronounced communication capability Analytical way of thinking and pleasure in technical questions Positive and solution-oriented handling of challenges Class B driving licence Technical understanding and affinity for vehicles and mobility Knowledge in the field of internal combustion engines and thermodynamics is desirable Technical vocational training is advantageous Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
