Senior Physician Gastroenterology (m/f/d)

The Hospital Society St. Vincenz mbH is the largest employer in the Limburg-Weilburg district, supported by two foundations. As a regional health care provider, the company at the locations of Limburg and Diez ensures the care of around 30,000 stationary patients per year and 80,000 outpatient patients: both at a high level of medical and nursing.

For the next possible period we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

The Gastroenterology department has 53 beds. In the year, more than 8,000 endoscopic interventions and more than 2500 sonographies (incl. EUS, SMES, Sonography-controlled punctures) are carried out by the abbot for gastroenterology. Endoscopy offers a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures (including cholangioscopy with the Spy Glass DS system including electrohydraulic lithotrypsy, LAMS). The Centre for Internal Medicine consists of the independent Department of Gastroenterology with Section Diabetology (incl. attached DDG-certified Foot Ambulance), the Department of Cardiology with Section Pulmonology, the Department of Oncology and the Department of Nephrology. There is the possibility of acquiring the focus on gastroenterology and diabetics DDG, so that, in principle, an endoscopic and sonographically versed physician in advanced training is also eligible for the job as an internist. The team consists of five senior physicians and 8 assistant physicians. Its main task is to carry out endoscopic and sonographic studies/interventions; also supervise one of the assistant physicians on the station and regularly participate in the endoscopic background services (which are covered alternately by four endoscopes).
