Senior System Administrator - Network / Linux (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the stable operation and further development of our heterogeneous server landscape with a clear focus on Linux and Windows systems. You design and manage our network infrastructure, secure it with modern firewalls and ensure smooth connectivity. Ownly, you drive IT projects from conception to implementation to continuously modernise our system landscape. As an experienced contact person and mentor, you actively give your knowledge to your team-mate and support them in complex technical challenges. You ensure system availability through proactive monitoring and, alternating with the team, take the call to ensure stability.

You have a completed IT training or bring comparable knowledge in system administration through at least 5 years of professional experience. You feel at home in the administration of Linux and Windows server environments and have a sound knowledge of network technology (Firewalls, VPN). You are passionate about open source technologies and have ideally already gained practical experience with it. You work independently, think solution-oriented and share your knowledge as a mentor:in with your colleagues. You will certainly communicate in German (at least C1 level) to exchange you clearly with the team and with customers. Flexibility for occasional deployments in the call readiness service, which you can also remotely perceive, is of course for you.
